Return Policy
Article 1. Definitions
1.1. In these return conditions, the following terms with capital letters have the following meanings, unless expressly stated otherwise or arising from the context:
Customer: The legal entity or natural person acting in the course of their profession or business to whom Tuynder has delivered the product.
Product: The product that Tuynder has delivered to the customer.
In writing: In writing, via email, or any other digital means, such as through the Tuynder customer account or Tuynder’s return app.
Deposit: The product with a deposit value that the customer returns in exchange for the product.
Tuynder: Tuynder B.V., located at Gildeweg 8, Nootdorp, the Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 27083606.
1.2. Unless the context indicates otherwise, defined terms in the singular also refer to the plural.
Article 2. Return Procedure and Returning the Product and the Old Part
2.1. If the customer wishes to return a product, they must submit a return request to Tuynder within 5 days after delivery of the product via the Tuynder Return App. For Volkswagen Group products, a different time frame applies, see Article 2.2.
2.2. If the customer wishes to return a Volkswagen Group product, they must submit a return request to Tuynder in writing within 3 days after delivery of the product.
2.3. After receiving the customer's return request, Tuynder will inform the customer as soon as possible whether the return request is accepted or rejected. Return requests submitted late will not be accepted.
2.4. If Tuynder accepts the return request, the customer must return the product within 5 days of being informed by Tuynder that the return request has been accepted.
2.5. The return must meet the following conditions:
2.6. For a product that has a deposit, the customer must return the disassembled part within 30 days after the delivery of the replacement product. This part must be complete (without broken parts) and free of dirt and oil.
2.7. If the customer must return the product or disassembled part, the customer may choose between the following 2 options:
2.8. If the customer has fully and timely met all return conditions and Tuynder has received the product, the purchase price of the product will be credited.
2.9. Otherwise, return costs will be charged: at least €30 (excluding VAT) or 20% of the net purchase price, unless the product was delivered incorrectly or the customer ordered the wrong product due to incorrect advice from a Tuynder employee.
Article 3. Exceptions
3.1. The following products cannot be returned:
3.2. These return conditions apply only within the EU. Return requests for products delivered outside the EU will not be accepted unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Article 4. Failure to Fulfill the Return Conditions
4.1. If the customer has returned a product and not fulfilled all the return conditions or the returned product falls under one of the products mentioned in Article 3.1, the return will not be accepted, and Tuynder will choose at its discretion:
4.2. Tuynder will inform the customer if the return is not accepted and which of the two options in Article 4.1 Tuynder has chosen.
4.3. It is always the responsibility of the customer to fully and timely fulfill the return conditions.
Article 5. Transport Damage and Other Defects in Delivery
5.1. The customer must immediately inspect the delivered products for transport damage, except for night deliveries; see Article 5.4.
5.2. Transport damage must be reported to Tuynder in writing within 24 hours after delivery of the order. The customer must include photos of the following in the report:
5.3. If the customer’s report of transport damage does not meet the requirements of Article 5.2, the report will not be processed.
5.4. In the case of a night delivery, transport damage must be reported to Tuynder by 10:00 AM. A phone report is not a valid damage report, as evidence for the transport provider is required.
5.5. If the delivered order is incomplete, the order was not delivered by the carrier, or the wrong product is included in the package, this must be reported in writing within 24 hours of the invoice date.
Article 6. General Terms and Conditions and Deviating Agreements
6.1. In addition to these return conditions, the general terms and conditions of Tuynder apply to orders. These general terms and conditions can be viewed at https://tuynder.nl/algemene-voorwaarden/.
6.2. Deviations from these return conditions are only valid if expressly agreed upon in writing.
